Welcome to the first version of the Collecting Stories on Earthquakes blog.
As you can see on your left, there is a World Map with markers on it. Each of those is a story, that you can hear and comment once you click on them.
Because this is part of my Collective Story Telling class, most of them are in English, given that this is, in fact, the language of instruction.
However, I felt that I had to take advantage of the unique multi cultural and multi language setting that ITP provides. Thus, I asked some people to tell me their stories in their original language.
So far, the map has stories in Spanish for Mexico, Greek for Cyprus and Japanese for Japan.
If you’ll like to contribute, just click on any of the categories on your left, below the map and start bloging! For now, only text entrances will be allowed. More media will be available in the near future.
Have a good day.
